Anatoli Lvovich Kaplan (Russian, Israeli, 1903-1980) original black and white lithograph on paper, Rogachev Date, 1972. Signed and dated in pencil, lower right. Titled in pencil, lower left. Throughout his life, Anatoly Kaplan's work was closely associated with Jewish folklore and Yiddish literature; he illustrated the works of a number of Jewish writers, including the classics of Jewish literature, as well as Jewish folk songs.
