Zorikto Balzhinimaevich Dorzhiev (Russian, Buryat, born 1976) mixed media painting on canvas, Wednesday (from the series Khan's Concubines), 2007. Signed lower right. Framed. Zorikto Dorzhiev works in easel painting, graphics, book illustration, sculpture, and film artists. Perceiving the foundations of the Russian academic school and the cosmopolitanism of contemporary European art, Dorzhiev continues to follow the Buryat national traditions.
