TWO CARVED WOOD FIGURES ELEPHANT JOHNNY APPLESEED
A vintage two carved wooden figurines. The first is a hand-carved Johnny Appleseed (American folklore character, agricultural enthusiast), he carries his pack on his back, a pail for water, and a bag of seeds in his arms, a hat keeps him cool, he goes barefoot; numbered, 1265, on the bottom. The second is an Indian carved wooden black-tone elephant family, three animals in different sizes, on the base; an elephant with a lowered trunk is a symbol of steadfastness and peace in any situation.
