SALVATORE MELANI FRENCH ART DECO BRONZE SCULPTURE
A vintage early 1930s bronze sculpture depicting a pheasant bird with a splayed tail. This piece seems to be an unsigned work by Salvatore Melani, 1902 to 1934. The figure is installed on a black marble base. The style of the sculpture refers to the Art Deco imagery with its interest in geometrical design and exotica.
