A cold-painted cast bronze figurine depicting a Muslim Arab man offering prayers on a carpet, attributed to Franz Xavier Bergman, 1861-1936. Such items were a very popular product in Austria at the beginning of the 20th century, when Franz Xavier Bergman, 1861-1936, opened a foundry in Vienna. There is an embossed hallmark on the bottom of the item: personal number 2682 and letters Gesund, probably referring to the German term Geschutzt meaning copyrighted.
