ANTIQUE VENETIAN RED VELVET ROBE WITH EMBROIDERY
An antique late 18th-century Venetian robe or kaftan made of red velvet. The piece is richly decorated with silver thread embroidery representing flowers. The edges of the fabric are decorated with golden braids. The item is presumably manufactured by Persian or Rajasthani artisans for the European market.
