Signed and dated lower left. Framed. Additionally signed, dated and inscribed on the backside. Mikhail Nesterov was fascinated by the novels of Pavel Melnikov, In the Forests, and On the Mountains, which transferred the reader to the colorful environment of the Trans Volga Old Believers.
