A Russian Imperial rectangular shaped gilt silver picture easel frame with the central circle featuring the portrait of Emperor Nicholas II surrounded by a laurel wreath with diamonds and ribbons. On a red guilloche enamel ground with garlands and mythological birds set with gemstones, surmounted with a crown on a twisted frame. Hallmarked with manufacturer and 84 silver proof marks.
