JAMES MONT MANNER FIGURAL DESK SET ON MARBLE BASE - A vintage verdigris finish bronze sculptural desk set with a pen holder and a stamp dispenser. The ware is made in a shape of a Guardian dog, a reminiscent of Shang dynasty pottery and also evokes Aztec and Mayan designs. The figure is engraved with traditional ornaments. Mounted on a rectangular shaped marble base. Circa: 1970s .James Mont, 1904 to 1978 was a notorious mid century designer and interior decorator.
