An antique 19th century Russian Orthodox miniature icon representing Christ Pantocrator. Egg tempera painting on gesso and wood. The icon features an embossed 84 silver riza or oklad, adorned with chased and engraved traditional detailed patterns. Inscribed upper center. Comes with a box. Circa: mid to late 19th century. Marked with a standard Silver hallmark, a maker mark, and other Cyrillic marks. The icon of Jesus Christ the Almighty is one of the central images of the Christian iconography of the Savior.
