ANTIQUE RUSSIAN EMPIRE SILVER ORDER OF ST STANISLAUS - An antique Russian Empire silver Star of the Order of St. Stanislaus. The order is an eight ray silver tent star. In the center of the star is a round medallion edged with emerald enamel. Golden laurel branches are set on the green enamel, connected in the middle of each with two flowers. In the center of the medallion, in a small gold hoop, the monogram of St. Nicholas is written in red enamel letters. Stanislav in the form of Latin letters SS. Around the hoop, in a white field, in gold letters, the motto of the order is Praemiando incitat. In the center of the reverse there is a screw installed originally by the owner of the order with two twists small and large. Hallmarked on the backside with an 84 silver Russian standard.
