MALAYSIAN CITYSCAPE OIL PAINTING BY YU CHIAN CHIA
Yu Chian Chia, Malaysian, 1936 to 1991, oil painting on canvas depicting a cityscape, 1961. Signed and dated, lower right. Framed. Chia Yu Chian was a distinguished Malaysian artist who sedulously applied characteristically Western bold brushstrokes along with Asian aesthetics in his work. He was educated in Singapore and graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts NAFA. As a second generation Nanyang artist, Chia was influenced by the works of Chen Wen Hsi, Cheong Soo Pieng and Georgette Chen. Modern Asian Fine Art, Cityscape Oil Paintings, Wall Art, and Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
