An original lithographic poster Erte of the Circle Gallery after Erte or Romain de Tirtoff, Russian, French, 1892 to 1990. Copyright 1982. Inscribed and marked in the print, lower to the center. Framed. A certificate of authenticity is on the backside. Romain de Tirtoff was a Russian and French artist and designer known by the pseudonym Erte, from the French pronunciation of his initials. He was a 20th century genuis artist, graphic artist, illustrator, set designer, fashion designer, sculptor of the Art deco era, Russian origin, who worked in Paris and Hollywood.
