RUSSIAN GARDNER HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN TEA SET
A Russian Gardner porcelain tea set. The set includes a cup, a saucer. Completed with a plate. The pieces are decorated with hand painted floral and bird decor, and gilded accents on borders. The Chinese manner plate is adorned with a rural view in a mountain river landscape, and gilded rims, marked on the backside. The set is marked with a red ink Fabrika Gardner stamp, on the bottom. Gardner was the first Russian private porcelain manufacture, established in the 18th century. Collectible Porcelain Tableware Serveware.
Dimensions
The plate is 7 in diameter, the saucer is 5 3/4 in diameter. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Small chip on the edge of saucer. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
