RUSSIAN BRONZE SCULPTURE BY ALBERT MORITZ WOLFF - An antique bronze Russian sculpture of the second half of the 19th century by Albert Moritz Wolf. A fine copy of the original work by Vasily Yakovlevich Grachev, 1831 to 1905 titled Cossack with a Cossack woman. On the base of the sculpture is engraved in Cyrillic A.M. Wolf. Note: Albert Moritz Wolff, born in Berlin, studied at the Academy of Arts in the city. In 1881 he debuted at an exhibition in the academy with a bust of the preacher Nessler. Monument sculptures and medals, but most of all genre sculptures, produced by small foundries, such as Gladenbeck Berlin and WMF Geislingen, are present in his Oeuvre.
