A Silver Shabbat Three Arm Candelabra, Austria Circa 1890
This tall, elaborate silver candleabrum bears Austrian hallmarks. Likely used to light Sabbath candles, as there is a lengthy dedication on the base in Hebrew which states it was presented in memory of a loved one, along with the Hebrew year of 5698, which is 1938.
A majestic piece of silver that upon research of the names listed ("Rabbi Mordechai Frankel and his wife Chana"), may reveal fascinating historical tales due to the year this was gifted, which is the same as the annexation of Austria by Germany.
