Hadrat Kodesh, Only Edition, Ofen 1827 - "Diagram of the Second Temple" Plate. Extremely Rare!

Sefer Hadrat Kodesh: Contains Mishnayot of Rosh Hashanah and Yoma, matters concerning the Ten Days of Repentance, prayers, supplications, laws, and customs for all that a person should do during the holy and awe-inspiring days... Accompanied by the service of the High Priest on Yom Kippur, additional sacrifices of the entire year, with their names, and a diagram of the Temple, an engraved stone artwork, and a calendar until the end of the six thousand years. Compiled, arranged, and translated into Ashkenazi by Azriel Brill, the dayan sitting here in Pest.

Ofen, 1827. Printed by K. Ungar University Press, Only Edition.

At the end of the volume, a folded plate "Diagram of the Second Temple."

In the introduction to the sefer, the author writes about the virtues of his work, and in section (6) he refers to the diagram:

"...how much effort I put into depicting it properly... because the diagram as it is in the Gemara Middot is very corrupted in its form and likeness, the upper part is lowered, the lower part is raised, the right is left, and the left is right. With God's help, I prepared this house in its proper place..."

Extremely rare! Never appeared in a public auction.
