Ляпкало Виктор, Лауреат Золотой Медали ICHF, Шахерезада, 2014, 100х50, х.м. Окончил Институт живописи, скульптуры и архитектуры им. И.Е. Репина (мастерская Народного художника СССР Бориса Угарова). Член Петербургского союза художников с 1990 года.
С 1988 – 2008 гг. принимал ежегодное участие в городских художественных выставках, выставках Союза художников. Персональные выставки прошли в России и Европе. Произведения художника находятся в частных собраниях России, Германии, Голландии, Бельгии, Италии, США и других странах. В стремлении утвердить естественность обнаженного тела, человеческой плоти, творчество художника можно сравнить с работами одного из крупнейших художников XX века Люсьена Фрейда. Их объединяет схожее отношение к телу и выбор натурщиков, которые репрезентуют их цели. Художник далек от идеализации модели, наоборот, его живо интересует правдивость в изображении обыкновенных людей с их изъянами и нестандартными фигурами. Для достижения большей жизненности Ляпкало предпочитает пользоваться услугами непрофессиональных моделей - людей, для которых позирование художнику является в основном новым опытом. Тех, для кого этот опыт может быть сопряжен с испытанием самого разнообразного спектра эмоций. Полотна художника не лишены некоторой ироничности, однако во всех изображениях чувствуется симпатия автора к тому, что он изображает. Жанр “ню” является основным в творчестве художника и внутри этого жанра можно обнаружить присутствие постоянных мотивов - обнаженные у зеркала, с вуалью, обнаженные с музыкальными инструментами, чаепитие. Очень часто на полотнах художника появляется мужчина-модель, который служит своего рода стаффажем на картине, дополнением к обнаженным дамам. Худосочный мужчина контрастирует с крепко сбитой, дородной женщиной, добавляя в полотна изрядную долю юмора. Художнику удается изобразить несовершенные тела привлекательными, чувственными. Это воспевание роскошной плоти со всеми с его складками, выпуклостями и изгибами, с передачей тончайших цветовых нюансов женского тела.
