Захарьян Рубен Агасьевич (1901-1988 гг.).
Живописец.
Родился в 1901 году в Тифлисе.
Учился в училище при ВХТУЗе (1918-22). Окончил ВХУТЕИН в 1927 году по мастерской А.Е.Карева, В.Е.Савинского.
Участник выставок с 1934 года.
Ведущее место в творчестве художника занимает пейзаж, натюрморт.
Произведения художника отличают простота композиционного решения, свободное владение цветом, тонко разработанная световоздушная среда в пейзажах и колористическая сдержанность в натюрмортах.
Картины художника находятся в художественных музеях Еревана, Тбилиси, в частных коллекциях в России и за рубежом: Франции, Германии, Италии, Японии, США.
