Живописец.
Родился в 1928 году в Костроме.
Специальное художественное образование получил в Костромском художественном училище, которое окончил в 1951 году.
Участник областных и республиканских выставок с 1955 года.
Особое место в творчестве художника занимает пейзаж. Мажорная жизнеутверждающая палитра художника воспевает красоту родной земли.
Картины художника находятся в Костромском художественном
музее, в частных коллекциях в России и за рубежом: Германии,
Японии, Франции.
