There are minor soilings and scuffs. The binding is worn. Some pages are torn. Some pages are missing some text.  The cover of the issue of August 11, 1934 shows Marshal of France Hubert Lyotte. The issue has an article devoted to him and his life with colour photographs and a colour image. There are black and white advertising posters at the beginning and end of the issue.  L'Illustration, the first French illustrated newspaper, which was published from 1843 to 1944. In 1906 L'Illustration became the first illustrated magazine in the world and was distributed in more than 150 countries. This legendary weekly magazine reported what was happening in the world for more than a century and made the history of the French and international press. Published in French.
