A Russian model 1834 sawback short sword - A Russian model 1834 sawback short sword. Massive brass handle. Came from private collection from the UK. The sword was probably used in Crimean war of 1853-55 and captured by the British forces. No scabbard. Good condition with clear markings. Made in 1847. Total length: 63 cm. Dimensions of a blade: 48.5 x 4.3 cm.
