A Heer WW2 Nazi Dress Dagger - this was the 2nd Dagger given to the vendor by a WW2 Veteran (please see lot 183). This dagger by Anton Wingen is in overall very good condition and has an unmarked blade. The Anton Wingen cross guard and pommel cap retain all of their thick bright nickel plating - it has not been polished. The dark burnt orange trylon grip has no cracks and almost no patina build up. The thick nickel plated scabbard has no dents, and matches the daggers fittings perfectly, suggesting this set has been together since the start. The scabbards screws are completely unmolested. The scabbard rings show correct wear. The hangers are correct and although frayed show excellent patina. 40cm total length.
