A WW2 German Nazi First Patten Luftwaffe Dagger with a Burnt Orange Grip. The dagger is by Rudolf Buchel of Solingen, Merscheid. A truly unmolested example with hangers and portepee. The grip has no cracks and the wire is perfect although discoloured with age. The scabbard retains its plating with detail of oak leaves. The portepee show slight wear on the inside of the not showing correct wear. The hangers are reversed as the hanging clips are broken but correct oak leaf buckles. The belt clip is on a ring to keep the two items together. 43cm total length.
