Evgeny Shcheglov was born in 1970 in Moscow into the family of the famous graphic artist Evgeny Borisovich Shcheglov. Winner of the Moscow Prize in the field of literature and art 2020. He received a classical art education, graduating from the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum of the Russian Academy of Arts and the Moscow State Academic Art Institute. IN AND. In the field of monumental painting, the artist works in the technique of classical painting, adhering to the principles of a harmonious and stylistic connection between painting and architecture. He created realistic compositions to expand space, paintings imitating architecture, abstract compositions, and all kinds of ornaments for decorating interiors and facades. Evgeny Shcheglov is the author of numerous paintings and panels in Russia and France, the author of several panels in the Moscow Gostiny Dvor, on the Garden Ring in Moscow. Co-author of the plafond of the CSKA metro station and the panel in the lobby of the Shelepikha metro station. The CSKA and Shelepikha metro stations were awarded the “Golden Sign” of the international architectural festival Zodchestvo’18 as objects of social and cultural significance.
