OVERALL CONDITION: Excellent, new


STONE: Opal (Doublet, mosaic)

  Dimensions: 38.9mm x 28.8mm x 9.3mm

  Color: Black, green, reds, blues, pinks, and more


METAL: 14K Yellow Gold

SIZE:  Back Bezel-Frame - approximately 10mm


APPRAISAL REPORT: This pendant is certified and appraised for $1,600.00 by JAGI (Jewelry Appraisal and Gemological Institute)


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  This is an "opulent" opal pendant and very well-crafted.  The opal doublet has an amazing play of color.  And, the mosaic work of the crystal opal is assembled with the skill of a master craftsman.  This gemstone is set into a retro mid-century gold bezel with crown-like edges and a 3mm polished frame.  The back of the bezel-frame is approximately 10mm wide with reticulated designs, conforming further with the elegance of the mid-century style. The solid bail is attached to an affixed ring at the top of the pendant.  The bail can accommodate and approximate 7mm chain.  

  • Crystal opal:  The term “crystal opal” refers to any kind of opal (i.e. black opal, white opal, semi-black opal) which has a transparent, translucent, or semi-translucent body.
