CHINESE PARCEL GILT & RED LACQUER TRUNK WITH BUTTERFLY HASP
Chinese red lacquered wooden trunk, dovetailed and nailed construction, sides with bail carrying handles. Front and side panels decorated with birds in garden motif. Butterfly hasp closure has figured designs engraved all over. Hinged top with butterfly-form hasp, open interior.
