A very rare yatagan made in Greece in the last quarter of the 18th century, with a Solingen blade. - Item details Description A very rare yatagan made in Greece in the last quarter of the 18th century with a Solingen blade. The concave steel blade is decorated on both sides with an engraved ornament of sun, moon and stars, the blade partially retains the blue and gilding. Bone hilt with silver decoration, some of which is lost. Very rare, only a few examples of this type of yatagan are known. Height: 76 cm; Condition Minor damage, see photos.
