Magnificent forged, hilt with a protective plate on one side. The plate are decorated with beautiful chasing with floral decor. The wooden handle is wrapped with silver wire. Iron pommel with exquisite finishing. It is likely that another blade was installed on the old 17th century hilt as a repair in the 19th century. Rare collector's item in good condition.
