Donated french officer's infantry saber model 1845/1855. - Item details Description Donated french officer's infantry saber model 1845/1855 ”Adjudant”. Slightly curved, single-and false-edged blade with two fullers on both sides. On the butt of the blade there is an inscription in the Gothic style ”Offert par Cottred Bleber Officier de la subdivision de Creteil le 29 Juin 1879”. Brass hilt, partially pierced and decorated with floral motifs. Horn grip with spirals, metallic wire binding is lost. Metal scabbard with a two rings for attaching to a sword belt.
