Antisemitic poster - March of Religions
RASTUS ON PARADE - on parade. An anti-Semitic poster showing a procession of people of different nationalities with each one carrying his "I believe". The Jew is shown dressed in Eastern European clothes with a long nose and peot holding a Torah scroll on which is written: Laloi de moise talmud - "Laws of Moses Talmud", next to him is another Jew also with a stereotypical face carrying the seven-caned menorah. France, c. 1900.
50x32 cm. Apparently taken from a French advertising. Tears in the center. Good condition. Poster glued to a hard surface for display and preservation.
