ANTISEMITIC AND ANTI-COMMUNIST POSTERS (6)
Lot of six posters from an unknown portfolio. They are paginated and come from volume 4. Each poster displays back and white drawings that convey antisemitic and anti-communist messages and portray German people as being exploited. They include 'The World Jew does business. (Dawes Plan Conference)' in relation to the 1924 staggered payment plan for Germany's payment of war reparations, stereotypical propaganda images of Jewish capitalists wearing the star of David, and a Marxist placing a blindfolded, tighted-up simple German man under the boots of Entente capitalism and militarism. Writing on the posters is in German, partially in Sutterlin. Approx. 8.5 x 11.5 inches, very good.
