GERMAN HAND CARVED EDELWEISS SWASTIKA BOX
Fine hand carved wooden keepsake box decorated with two Edelweiss flowers on the front face and a nicely carved German national eagle clutching a swastika is affixed to the lid. The box is lined in light green tufted fabric. The key for the lock is not present. A loose label found inside the box reads 'German craftsmanship 1939'. The Edelweiss decoration suggests that the box was made in Bavaria or Austria. Approximately 4.5 x 7 inches and 4 inches high.
