4-Volume Beautiful Miniature Tanach in Antique Leather Case. Berlin, 1711
Complete 4-volume set of Torah-Nevi’im-Kesuvim printed in unique miniature (long and narrow) format; all volumes leather-bound and preserved in antique leather case. The Tanach is printed without nekudos.
Attractive complete set, in good condition. Thick paper. Gilded edges.
Antique red leather binding with gilded borders and ornaments. Preserved in matching green leather case with interior divided into four compartments. All 4 volumes have a separate title page.
Berlin, 1711. Height: 10.7 cm; width: 4.7 cm. Torah: [1] 219 sides, [4]. Nevi’im Rishonim: 187 sides, [1]. Nevi’im Achronim: 194 sides, [1]. Kesuvim: 213 sides, [1].
Rare to find this item in such a complete, well-kept state.
Owners’ signature in Vol. 1— “Michael Nadash.” This is presumably Rabbi Michael Nadash, forefather of the distinguished Dushinsky family.
