A CIRCASSIAN MOUNTED WARRIOR LITHOGRAPH BY ALEXANDER ORLOWSKY, 19TH CEN.
This finely detailed lithograph depicting a mounted Circassian warrior in traditional garb was produced by the famed and important Franco-German lithographer Godefroy Engelmann (1788-1839) after an original piece by Polish artist Aleksandr Osipovich Orlovsky (1777-1832).
France, 19th Century.
