A RUSSIAN PORCELAIN TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE.
Gardner Factory, circa 1830s.
Russian porcelain coffee and tea service comprising a tea pot, a coffee pot, four cups with saucers, a sugar bowl and a bowl. Every piece is beautifully gilded and painted with scenes of human figures in countryside landscapes.
All pieces except two saucers have blue underglaze marks "G" for Gardner.
Two saucers have blue underglaze marks "NI", Imperial Porcelain Factory, period of Nicholas I.
