Обзор товара
описание:
The cylindrical holder finely worked in open filigree silver, composed of intricate scrolling foliage and lattice motifs within geometric borders, with a shaped angular handle of matching pierced filigree. The base and rim are reinforced with plain silver bands, lending structure to the delicate design. Retains a fitted, cut-glass insert with starburst decoration.
Hallmarks: 'KAM'.
This piece reflects the traditional Russian silversmith’s mastery of filigree a decorative technique rooted in 17th–19th century ecclesiastical and folk silverwork. The maker’s mark KAM likely corresponds to a late Imperial or early Soviet-period workshop continuing the artisanal filigree tradition of regions such as Kazan or Kostroma.
