Of cylindrical form on a spreading circular foot, the body decorated in repoussé with a dynamic troika scene depicting a driver urging three galloping horses along a snowy landscape, with passengers in the sleigh. The handle of scrolled form with beaded edging, typical of mid-century Soviet craftsmanship.
Hallmarks: Mstera city mark.

The Mstera workshop (Мстера), located in the Vladimir Oblast region of Russia, was among the postwar Soviet silver producers continuing pre-revolutionary metalworking traditions. The troika motif was a popular theme in decorative Soviet metalwork, symbolizing speed, progress, and Russian heritage.
