A LARGE RUSSIAN IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY CUPS AND SAUCERS, 11906/1912

A fine set of two large porcelain tea cups with matching saucers, produced by the Imperial Porcelain Factory during the reign of Nicholas II (1894–1917). Each cup and saucer is decorated with the Russian Imperial double-headed eagle, finely painted in black and polychrome enamels, and edged with a delicate gilded rim. The cups are generously proportioned, reflecting the luxurious service wares of the late Imperial period.

The Imperial Porcelain Factory was the official porcelain manufacturer for the Russian court, producing tableware, diplomatic gifts, and commemorative pieces. Sets bearing the double-headed eagle were used at Imperial residences or commissioned for official purposes.
