описание:
A finely preserved hand-painted porcelain service produced by the Schoelcher Porcelain Factory in the early 19th century. The service is decorated throughout with rich gilding in a classical Empire-inspired palette, featuring alternating registers of stylized anthemion and foliate motifs above finely gilt vertical striations on a white ground. The set comprises a covered sugar bowl with twin handles and a finial lid, a lidded teapot, a milk or cream jug, and five matching cups with corresponding saucers. Each piece is carefully proportioned and unified by consistent decorative borders, applied gilt handles, and shaped rims, reflecting the refined craftsmanship and decorative taste of early 19th-century continental porcelain production. The verso bears painted factory inscriptions consistent with Schoelcher workshop marking practices of the period.
