описание:
White-glazed porcelain figure depicting a chubby winged putto seated upon a stylized mound, modeled nude with a draped cloth around the hips and holding a curved bow in his left hand. The figure is rendered with softly rounded anatomy, full cheeks, and a playful expression, combining Rococo-derived charm with the clarity and restraint of later Meissen white porcelain production. The gently animated pose, with one knee raised and the torso subtly twisted, creates a lively sculptural rhythm, while the absence of polychrome decoration emphasizes the form's surface and modeling. The motif belongs to Meissen’s long tradition of mythological and allegorical child figures, ultimately deriving from 18th-century Rococo prototypes but here reinterpreted in a simplified monochrome idiom suitable for decorative display in refined interiors.
The figure rests on an integral sculpted base. The verso bears Meissen factory markings and painted inventory or retail notation in green, together with a firing hole.
