описание:

A MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A DANCING CHINESE BOY BY PAUL SCHEURICH, GERMANY, CA. 1926

Hard-paste porcelain figure modeled as a dancing Chinese boy in animated pose, holding a cornucopia-shaped candle nozzle in his raised hands, the head turned expressively to one side. The figure wears a stylized costume with a flowing jacket edged in pink, applied blue buttons, patterned trousers with floral motifs, and blue-accented shoes, the modeling emphasizing rhythmic movement and theatrical gesture. The figure is raised on an octagonal base and derives from an original design created by Paul Scheurich in 1926, one of his characteristic chinoiserie-inspired compositions combining Rococo references with early 20th-century sculptural dynamism.

Produced by the Meissen Мanufactory. Тhe verso is marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark, incised number 132 and model number 1145.
