описание:
A fine and richly decorated Minton porcelain centerpiece of triangular form, surmounted by a domed cover with a flame-shaped finial. The bowl is raised on a spiral-fluted stem and supported on a stepped base adorned with neoclassical ornament. Three seated maidens in matte-white (Parian-style) porcelain rest around the base, each holding a lyre, representing the arts and classical harmony. The body is painted in a refined palette of turquoise, coral-red, and gold, with stylized acanthus motifs and raised gilt beading typical of the Minton aesthetic of the period.
The underside is unmarked, as is often the case with larger Minton sculptural table ornaments from this era.
