A fine set of three original photographs, unsigned, showing Gorki in different poses. The first image, 3.5 x 5.5, depicts Gorki alongside Feodor Chaliapin (1873-1938) Russian Opera Singer. An excellent vintage postcard photograph, the image showing both artists in a half-length pose, Gorky seated alongside Chaliapin standing close. The second image, 6 x 4, shows Gorky seated alongside Vikenty Veresaev (1867-1945) Soviet Writer, Leonid Andreyev (1871-1919) Russian Playwright, considered a father of Expressionism in Russian literature, and Mouijel. The third oblong 6 x 5 image shows Gorki seated before his working bureau in a head and shoulders pose. Tear and very slightly trimmed bottom left corner to the last image, otherwise G, 3
