Herzl writes, 'If it's all right with you, I'll come to you this afternoon at half past three, to work a little. If my messenger doesn't find you at home, but hears that you are already in Vienna, I'll come even if I don't get an answer. The play 'The Wild Chase' has been accepted at the Burg [Theatre] and we will have to do something to submit our similar title in the proper way' . Attractively and professionally matted in pale blue and cream alongside a reproduction photograph of Herzl standing in a three-quarter length pose. 16 x 12 overall. VG   Herzl's correspondent may have been Hugo Wittmann (1839-1923) German-Austrian writer and operetta author who collaborated with Herzl on the comedy play Die Dame in Schwarz (' The Lady in Black' ) which received its premiere in Vienna on 6 th February 1890.
