The play 'The Wild Chase' has been accepted at the Burg [Theatre] and we will have to do something to submit our similar title in the proper way' . VG   Herzl's correspondent may have been Hugo Wittmann (1839-1923) German-Austrian writer and operetta author who collaborated with Herzl on the comedy play Die Dame in Schwarz (' The Lady in Black' ) which received its premiere in Vienna on 6 th February 1890.
