Pound writes in his characteristically idiosyncratic manner, and in a mixture of languages, thanking his correspondent 'for the splendid regallo (sic) ' seemingly apologising, and concluding 'if I haven't forgotten what little (? indecipherable word, possibly a book or letter) I possess' .
