MARTIN FRANK: (1890-1974) - MARTIN FRANK: (1890-1974) Swiss Composer. An attractive A.M.Q.S., Frank Martin , one page, oblong 7 x 3.5 card, Amsterdam, 23rd November 1965, to Julius Weder, in French. To the verso of his printed stationery personal card, Frank Martin - Naarden. The Swiss composer has carefully penned a six bars musical quotation which he identifies as ` Les 4 éléments - l´Air ´ (“ The 4 elements - The Air ”), from his oboe concerto, 1964. Martin has annotated some musical and tempo indications such as ` Allegretto. Dolce legg [ero] ´. Inscribed ` to Julius Weder, cordially ´ beneath the quotation. Accompanied by the original envelope in Martin´s hand. Postmarked and stamped. EX
