A fine vintage signed and inscribed postcard photograph, ` Wilhelm Backhaus´, the Tayer image from Vienna depicting Backhaus seated before his piano, in a three quarter length pose. Signed and inscribed in German, in bold dark blue fountain pen ink, to the lower white border of the image. Also dated 11 th February 1939 in his hand.
