A good signed 8 x 10 photograph, the image depicting Bergman standing in a three-quarter length pose, in armour, in costume as the Frech religious icon and war heroine Jeanne d’Arc from the hagiographic epic film Joan of Arc (1948). Signed by Bergman in black ink with her name alone to a light area at the centre of the image. It was for her performance in this role that Bergman received a Best Actress Oscar nomination. With a French newspaper clipping announcing the death of Bergman lightly affixed to the verso. VG
