I beg my eminent and dear colleague Peyrat to put me at your feet”) With blank leaf bearing to the heading and verso the printed stationery of the French Senate. VG Marie-Louise Arconati-Visconti (1840-1923) French Marquise, Philanthropist, Patron and Collector. The Marquise, an anti-clerical republican, was the widow of Gianmartino Arconati-Visconti, a catholic and Royalist, aide de camp to the King Vittorio-Emanuele II. Alphonse Peyrat (1812-1890) French Politician and father of Marie-Louise Peyrat, later called Marie-Louise Arconati-Visconti.
